Your first cattle

You buy cattle. A free start gives you TOUGH, and the herd comes after that.

Cattle packs

The Mercantile sells four packs. The prices below are the pack prices in dollars.

• Starter Ranch Pack, $7. 3 Range cows, 1 Range bull, and 2,000 TOUGH.
• Breeder's Pack, $12. 3 Range cows, 1 purebred Longhorn cow, 2 purebred Longhorn BIKs, 1 Range bull, and 4,000 TOUGH.
• Premium Ranch Pack, $17. 3 purebred Longhorn cows, 3 purebred Longhorn BIKs, 1 Range bull, and 8,000 TOUGH.
• Cattle King Pack, $27. 5 purebred Longhorn cows, 1 purebred Longhorn bull, 1 extra corral, and 16,000 TOUGH.

A pack also gives you a corral if the ranch does not have one yet. The Cattle King pack adds another corral when you already have one.

The Sale Yard

If you would rather spend TOUGH than buy a pack, open the Sale Yard and buy a cow or a bull another player has listed. Healthy purebreds are sold in the Purebred Sale, so the ordinary yard is mostly the rest of the herd.

Put the new cattle in a corral and feed them the same day.
