How to get started

Cattle Kings is a ranch you play in real time. A season is seven real days. You earn TOUGH by raising cattle, selling them, and working land.

Make an account

Register, then open the verification email and confirm the address. Until that mail is confirmed, the ranch stays closed.

Start at the ground level

Choose the free start. It puts 2,000 TOUGH in your hand and opens the game. It does not hand you a herd. Your first cattle come from a cattle pack, or from another player in the Sale Yard.

What to do first

1. Get cattle. The Mercantile sells cattle packs. The Sale Yard sells cattle other players have listed.
2. Put them in a corral. A new ranch receives a corral when the first pack arrives, if you do not already have one.
3. Buy hay and feed them. Health falls when they go unfed.
4. Read the page for the next job you take on. Breeding, the Sale Yard, and land each have their own page.
